How To Make A Glitter Make-Up Brush Holder

Hello everyone! Well it's time to get started and start making some really cool stuff with glitter. I love glitter on everything and anything. It's funny because I get it all over me and when my husband comes home he says" You've got glitter all over your hair and face.. so yeah I love glitter .

Today were going to make a Glitter make-up brush holder using just a few items.

What you will need is:

  • Stemless wine glass
  • Dishwasher safe modge podge
  • Any color of fine glitter
  • Paint brush
  • Vinyl sticker if you have one.
  • News paper to cover your area so you don't get glitter or glue everywhere
  • A paper plate or just a plain white piece of paper

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and watching my video. Have an a great day and don't forget to be awsome!

Happy New Year. Hello 2017

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! Well another year has passed. It seems like the time just flys by. My what a year we had. We had highs and we certainly had our lows this year. My husband had a career change which led us to move closer to his job. We had one mini vacation to visit my son and his family at Fort Campbell during Thanksgiving. So all in all 2016 wasn't that bad at all.
I'm so ready for 2017. This years Resolutions  as always, well you know what everyone's number one is? To loose weight! Yep, that is mine along with thousands of others. To live a better and healthy lifestyle. I'm not getting any younger and it's harder to get that energy to workout.  Our number 2 is to try and travel a little more even if it's to take a drive to the neighboring states. All our kids are grown so we can just pick up and go. Be more spontaneous! Try new things.
I've started my own little shop on Etsy. I've been doing crafts for awhile now. Handmade cards, wood signs, wreaths. Family and friends always giving great compliments and telling me I should sell my items. So I did it. My new venture for 2017. I'm excited and scared at the same time. I'm looking forward to see what this new year has in store for me. With that being said have a great 2017!

Furniture Makeover Sofa Table

Hello All! Well I found this sofa table at a goodwill it had a few bumps and scratches but not bad for 8.00 dollars. I was looking for a small table to put in front of our window in the dinning area. I wanted to use for my plants and this was perfect!  I already new what I wanted to do with it. I wanted to paint it a teal color.

I used 2 different shades of teal chalk paints. Then I used a dark wax to use over the finished table. I do love the way it turned out!

Paw Patrol Inspired Birthday Banner.

Hello... Thanks for stopping by my blog. Well this is my very first post. How exciting.  My daughter in-law sister asked if I could make her a banner for her sons birthday. She had seen all my post on facebook with all the stuff I have been making. So here it is! I'm so happy with the way it turned out I couldnt be more happier. She definitely loved it!

Here are the supplies I used to make this banner.

DIY Wine Sign

Hello,  hope everyone is having a wonderful morning. Here is my first DIY. I found this at a second hand store. It was a little sign with a shelf and I just loved how it looked and soon the ideas started to roll in. So I repainted with like a chalky dark grey then I used like a beige top coat. After that I added the crackle paint to give it that old weathered look. I used my Cricut Explore Air to cut out a template so I could paint on "Hakuna Moscato it means drink more wine" on it. This was the end result.  But I was thinking I could put a wine glass holder on the bottom of the shelf to hold like 3 or 4 glasses.
